Hi, I’m Zakia, a mehndi and henna artist in London. For over 20 years I’ve been creating bridal and party mehndi (also spelled mehendi) for brides across Ilford, East London, North London and Essex. Every design is drawn by hand with natural henna – no black henna, no chemicals – for a rich, dark stain on your wedding day.

Mehndi services
- Bridal mehndi – hands and feet, from wrist to elbow, in Indian, Pakistani, Arabic or fully bespoke designs. £150–£550, depending on your design.
- Party, Eid and guest mehndi – quick, pretty designs for mehndi nights, Eid, baby showers and parties. From £7 per side per hand.
- Glitter and white henna – waterproof, matched to your outfit from nearly 100 colours, lasts 3–8 days.
- Henna candles – hand-decorated wedding candles in your colours.
- Mehndi courses – beginner and advanced bridal courses in Ilford, with a certificate.

Where is Bridal Mehndi based?
Our studio is in Ilford (IG4), East London. We also travel to homes and venues across London and Essex.
Do you use natural henna?
Yes. We only use natural henna and never black or chemical henna.
How do I get a dark mehndi stain?
Keep the paste on for as long as possible, ideally overnight, then scrape it off and avoid water for 12 hours.
Do you do mehndi for guests and Eid?
Yes. Party, guest and Eid mehndi starts from £7 per side per hand, or £80 per hour for groups.
